Today after the NOMXC market closes we will release an update to the E2 software. The update is automatic and it can be downloaded it by restarting the E2.

 

The theme of this release is ease of use. We have made distinquishable changes to the E2 user interface. These changes are our response to your feedback. We would like to thank you all for making our product even better.

 

To make the transition to the new and improved E2 easier, we have published short tutorials on how the E2 works.

 

 

To respect your wishes, here are some of the features we have implemented to this version. The chart y-axis can be set manually or automatically. The products in market information's custom list updates to new products as trading expires. CO2 Future prices are easier to find in the NOMXC Carbon tab.

 

We have added several features to the E2 that make use easier and more efficient.

 

In the top left corner of E2 you can find a magnifying glass. By clicking it you can open a search, with which you can search for data, views or analyses that you need.

 

By default the search exclude expires products, if you wish to search historical product deselect the "only active" selection in the search bar.

 

In the E2 menu bar you can find menu tabs. These tabs contain market quotes, news, alerts and a set of themed dashboards. These tabs make market monitoring faster while you do analysis. The first menu tab always contains the E2 view you have opened.

We really have renewed our alerts system. The alerts are placed to their own menu tab and they are visible also in the market information window. You can set an alert to any time series in E2 data base.

The chart management tools and resources manager have been lifted as a pop-up toolbars. This resembles toolbars in photo editor software. Now it is easier and faster to edit your charts. The resources manager contains all the familiar content in a pop-up toolbar, the fastest way to find things is to use the E2 search.
